Afternoon Secret

Photography Donny Indra; Outfit: Abstrack Top, Short, polka headband, and shoes platform

I love God secret plans. They come beautifully without any sign..
My one and a half weeks file paper corrupted.
I cried.
I prayed.
God sent his mirracle...
It could be opened with other way then.
How sweet.
Thats how God reminded me to always prepare and save something carefully and safety..

P.S: Anyway, is there anyone who could explain how to write a comment on other blogger's post? I meet some difficulties on it, so cant reply my readers comments. I think there're some confusing changed on its setting :(

For She, I, and Other Venus

There is a stereotype of what the “perfect woman” and “perfect man” should be. People base this “perfect woman and man” off of what they see in magazines, television shows, advertisements, music, and art. The qualities for the “perfect woman” include, femininity, beauty, respectful, in shape, nurturing, motherly, housewife, dependent, caretaker, and loving.

In order to fulfill the gender role for women they must be feminine. To be feminine means  having qualities and or appearances traditionally associated with women. These qualities and appearances have been listed above.

For generations, there has been a stereotype that women need to be “perfect”. This “perfect” notion has come from the media. If a beautiful woman in a magazine or television show is always thin, with perfect skin and a flawless complexion, then the typical female viewer who is most likely not all of these things, will find herself alienated by the very image with which she is supposed to identify. The need to be feminine is important for women in order to feel socially accepted. Along with women, men will witness this media and begin to feel that women need to be this way in order to be liked. Despite the fact that the “perfect body” is manufactured meaning that most often women in magazines have been photoshopped to the extreme.

What do you think? Anyway, a woman in today's pictures post is SFA, my lovely, facinating and friendly friend. It was pleasant to have a photosession with her. She is lovely in her own way without much trying. I bet that every woman has different attractiveness as well. Love ourrself because we are queen!

Words of Wisdom for AAD 252
lyrics from “Video” by India Arie
I’m not the average girl from your video
and I ain’t built like a supermodel
But, I learned to love myself unconditionally
Because I am a queen
I’m not the average girl from your video
My worth is not determined by the price of my clothes
No matter what I’m wearing I will always be the india arie
always be the india arie
When I look in the mirror and the only one there is me
Every freckle on my face is where it’s supposed to be
And I know our creator didn’t make no mistakes on me
My feet, my thighs, my lips, my eyes; I’m lovin’ what I see

I Had a Special Secret

I had cheered me up.
I was smiling to myself,
and I walked tall and fast.
I grinned like I had a special secret.
You'd never seen me so sweet.
I walked up the road like I was
fifteen years old.

Outfit: Vintage lace shirt, skirt, leather postman bag (baby :) and shoes

I got this outfit from Donny's mom again. This is too sweet. It goes without saying that I really love this vintage gift ;) Swing swing this skirt.
