Every Second was Precious more than Everything

She was very thankful for her days. Every second was precious more than everything. She was glad being person who not only count the day to avoid unpleasant things and wish to skip some days, weeks, and months like thinks why an hour pass so long like a year.
And otherwise, she never wondered why only have 24 hours a day which is not enough.

Anyway again, did you notice the dark circle around my eyes? Haha I got lack of rest lately. (haha? should I laugh or sad? I don't know. All of my friends in office confuse why I always laugh in whatever situations-- even in a damn serious situation).

It could be not as Good as It's Seem

Like a child who just grew up
She realized the meaning of don't, shouldn't, please don't, and mustn't
The phrase which her mom and dad used to say

She asked to herself
why dont
She thought thats good for her
and ignoring what her parent said
Thing that she thought as good maybe not as good as it seem

It is a Terrible Mess

W is black
B is white
Y made stereotype
About B is beauty
Free from 'that' is pretty
Using fence inside the mouth is mode
and thin like paper is what they want
Then they hid their W into B
and tried to get rid from 'that'
and did foolish pain with fencing
and yeah, plastic surgery as another option
Photography: Donny Indra | Today's outfit: dress: Maier; shoes: Amanda Jane's; traditional sling bag: Unbranded
See? Just a stereotype game
With Y as a player
and they as the characters..
The holiday is almost over. To tell the truth, I was enjoying my me time so far. I'm so sad thinking about rush daily routine. So, how was your holiday?

I Miss the 't' in August

It is been a half of year since my last post last March. This is my bad. One that my readers should know is I am truly not ignoring my blog post. Well, some know that I am finishing my final project paper and doing my job. I blame them for killing my time (:p)
During my long empty post, I opened my eyes to see the life; my life and the life of people around me. I walked even run. I met deep sadness and great happiness. Actually not only them eh. I also said hi to the sickness, then surprising, shocking, confusing things as well.

I am still in my journey then I am getting to know this is life. Some have come then some have gone. I learn when I get something, I have to let them go someday. But when they went away, another they will be back oneday, although in unpredictable way. This belief gimme more strength.
Well, Its August already. Some sadness are about as usefull as the 't' in the August, but some happiness like the 'u' :)

About my outfit today, they're so simple and sweet, aren't they? See the lace? Yes lemme call them lacy outfit. And my hair, I divided it into two, and then braid it, clip them.

Photography: Donny Indra | Outfit: black pattern vintage dress, white lacy shirt: Unbranded
It is entering the long Moslem holiday in my place. Happy holiday to you all. Hope get much blessing in this August.

Touched Victorian Era

I didn't use to talk too much about my personal life since some coming emails asked plenty privacy questions. No no I mean not too privat I guess. But yah now you know. Actually I'm a good listener and just speak about my life only when somebody ask me. I'm proud of it because many people like to speak just about  theirselves and theirselves and theirselves again, but only a few persons are willing to sacrifice their time for listen other's story life.

However, both as a human and woman, if somebody asked about my life, I love to answer it! Because basically a person must be has feeling of importance of her own self.
(I've answered your questions by email ya :)

Well, today I won't talk about my personal life. This is a happy day and you see my outfit this day? I touched victorian style after watching some 1940s-50s movies with victorian era as their setting. Truly love clothing in this era. One word. Elegant. Just it.

Photography: DonnyIndra ; Outfit: Victorian lace top, pleated skirt, and boater hat
Then I'm going to tell you this style secret. The hat! And today I use straw boater hat. Sweet yah? I'm just wondering where this kind of hat went and nowdays it's disappear?

Last, (actually this is out of my topic today) one big question that always haunts me these lately days is why women can't read maps? Why some experts don't make simpliest maps for women? (this question arised in sudden when I got lost several times)

Waiting is Wasting

Did you ever feel bored when you have to wait for long long and very long time? I bet you did. I, you, and everyone did. Waiting for someone is for example. Ya. Don't they think that our time is precious? Yes yes I know that everyone has their own activity and business. But please when you have appointment with someone, please do come on-time. For God sake, this is one of the most important thing to build your credibility.

What I wear: Flowery vintage shirt, skinny jeans, vest, hat and leather bag. Photography: DonnyIndrap
One day when I have to wait for my friend who always come late and he late for about a half hour (only a half hour) but I get bored and I thought he was only wasting my time. Didn't he think that every second that I have is like a diamond?

But lately, I just realized why God only creates 24 hours a day and He creates some procrastinators as well. What God wants is not just waiting but do another better things I can do..

P.s. I know that I can't manage this blog well, I mean, always posts regularly  That's because I'm so busy lately. But I'll try my best to manage my blog better.

Am I Your Boyfriend?

How many blazer do you have in your closet? Yes. Blazer is one must-have-thing (at least one).
Then bellow are some different styles of blazer.

Short and Fitted Blazer
This blazer is the perfect choice for modern and stylish business women (no matter what age or size :)

 Belted Blazer
The belt gives this sophisticated piece of clothing a modern and feminine touch and at the same time creates a waistline.

Boyfriend Blazer
This style has been very popular for the last couple of years and 2010. This blazer is casual and cool look and feel. But it comes to creating a business look with this blazer can be a lil difficult.

Fortunatelly, I had collected blazers before they're 'trended'. Here is one of my outfit choice using blazer.
Blazer: Jordans Louis, Shoes Converse, Red Bowler a gift. Photography : Donny Indra P
Well which style of blazer do you choose? :)
Anyway today I have a 'limpe' photosession with my stunning model. ('limpe'? Is that a word? hahaha)
Have a nice day people!!!!

Afternoon Secret

Photography Donny Indra; Outfit: Abstrack Top, Short, polka headband, and shoes platform

I love God secret plans. They come beautifully without any sign..
My one and a half weeks file paper corrupted.
I cried.
I prayed.
God sent his mirracle...
It could be opened with other way then.
How sweet.
Thats how God reminded me to always prepare and save something carefully and safety..

P.S: Anyway, is there anyone who could explain how to write a comment on other blogger's post? I meet some difficulties on it, so cant reply my readers comments. I think there're some confusing changed on its setting :(

For She, I, and Other Venus

There is a stereotype of what the “perfect woman” and “perfect man” should be. People base this “perfect woman and man” off of what they see in magazines, television shows, advertisements, music, and art. The qualities for the “perfect woman” include, femininity, beauty, respectful, in shape, nurturing, motherly, housewife, dependent, caretaker, and loving.

In order to fulfill the gender role for women they must be feminine. To be feminine means  having qualities and or appearances traditionally associated with women. These qualities and appearances have been listed above.

For generations, there has been a stereotype that women need to be “perfect”. This “perfect” notion has come from the media. If a beautiful woman in a magazine or television show is always thin, with perfect skin and a flawless complexion, then the typical female viewer who is most likely not all of these things, will find herself alienated by the very image with which she is supposed to identify. The need to be feminine is important for women in order to feel socially accepted. Along with women, men will witness this media and begin to feel that women need to be this way in order to be liked. Despite the fact that the “perfect body” is manufactured meaning that most often women in magazines have been photoshopped to the extreme.

What do you think? Anyway, a woman in today's pictures post is SFA, my lovely, facinating and friendly friend. It was pleasant to have a photosession with her. She is lovely in her own way without much trying. I bet that every woman has different attractiveness as well. Love ourrself because we are queen!

Words of Wisdom for AAD 252
lyrics from “Video” by India Arie
I’m not the average girl from your video
and I ain’t built like a supermodel
But, I learned to love myself unconditionally
Because I am a queen
I’m not the average girl from your video
My worth is not determined by the price of my clothes
No matter what I’m wearing I will always be the india arie
always be the india arie
When I look in the mirror and the only one there is me
Every freckle on my face is where it’s supposed to be
And I know our creator didn’t make no mistakes on me
My feet, my thighs, my lips, my eyes; I’m lovin’ what I see

Some of the article above is from Gender Roles by Amanda Ryan and Sadie Hoxmeier.
